Pacific Private Bank is Acquired by FinTech Entrepreneurs

January 25, 2018

Dear Valued Partners,

We are excited to announce that Pacific Private Bank has been acquired by the team of successful serial fintech entrepreneurs: Vytautas Karalevicius, Mantas Mockevicius, and Justas Dobiliauskas. The agreement was approved by the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu and signed by both parties on the 15th of January, 2018.

All of the facilities and experience that go along with different fintech solutions will be brought to Pacific Private Bank by the new owners. An established product with a strong client base and, most importantly, solid IT infrastructure will also bring a number of synergies to strengthen our business. We expect that this integration will now allow us to create a very attractive basis for future growth.

The acquisition will complement Pacific Private Bank’s goal to provide a better experience for our customers and partners while supporting the community. Combining strengths, expertise, and financial resources will enable us to expand our product range, increase our geographical scope, and offer quality services at competitive prices.

Following the acquisition, Pacific Private Bank appointed new members to its Board of Directors, which now consists of:

  • Mantas Mockevicius (Chairman)
  • Vytautas Karalevicius
  • Martin St-Hilaire
  • Mantas Staliunas
  • Audrius Ziugzda

The Board also appointed Mr. Mantas Staliunas to serve as the Managing Director and CEO. Before joining Pacific Private Bank in 2016, Mantas worked in business development at Bloomberg in the United Kingdom and Switzerland. He holds a BSc degree in Economics from the University of Warwick and the CFA Charter.

Our clients will continue receiving uninterrupted banking service throughout the transition and will benefit from the synergies in the future.

We want to thank you for your trust and we hope to build upon our relationships in the exciting years to come.

Yours,

Pacific Private Bank Team
